Radio Static + Bass-y Drones + Wind seems to be the recipe for the more ambient Silent Hill tracks, so I set out to try and make my own.

If you gargle water in front of a mic and clean up the audio a little bit, try then to slow the speed and pitch down to about 0.06x speed. You end up with this really eerie noise. Adding other Audacity effects like Paulstretch and Reverb just amp up the scary levels even higher.

Try it at home! :P
